Privacy Policy

StudyCraft has no account, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Your schedules and journal stay on your device. The one optional network feature is the AI suggestion, described below.

Scope

This policy applies to the StudyCraft Android app, package com.studycraft.learn.method, and this website.

AI suggestion

This feature is optional. When you tap Suggest, the subject, number of days, and minutes per day that you entered are sent over an encrypted connection through the StudyCraft API gateway to a third-party AI service, to generate the response you asked for.

The app keeps this input and the response in memory only while the screen is in use, and does not write them to its database or files. Network infrastructure and the AI provider necessarily process the request and technical connection information to return a response, and their own security, abuse-prevention, and retention controls may apply. StudyCraft does not use this input for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

Do not enter personal or sensitive information in the subject field.

Information stored on your device

The app stores review schedules, journal entries, and your reminder, appearance, and onboarding preferences in its private storage. This information is not sent to the developer or included in AI requests. Android cloud backup is turned off for this app. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling removes this information.

Permissions

• Internet: the AI suggestion. Source links open in your browser.
• Notifications: the optional review reminder, which you turn on in Settings.
• Run at startup: restores your reminder after the device restarts.

This website

This website has no account, advertising, analytics, or forms. Its hosting provider may process basic request information such as IP address, browser details, and timestamps to deliver and secure the site.

Children

StudyCraft does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, and does not build profiles. Children should not enter personal information in the AI feature.

Accuracy

AI output can be mistaken. Evidence grades are an editorial summary of published research, and study results vary between people.
